STV-3025: International politics Work Load
20 credits (ECTS) | Objectives
STV-3025 is an elective course for students studying in the Master''s program in political science, but can also be of interest as an elective for students in other Master''s programs at the university. | Contents
This course provides students with an overview of an insights within the theoretical developments in the study of international politics:
- A history of the theoretical development within the study of international politics
- Status of the debates within the central theoretical perspectives
- Implications for the study of international relations in general as well as within particular issues areas. | Form of teaching
The course has multiple teaching approaches | Assessment
One term paper and one written exam.
The exams consist of:
- One 6 hours written university-based exam
- One term paper (approx. 4000 words) on a theme of your choice. The deadline for the paper will be announced shortly before the course ends.
Grades from A-E are passing grades, and F constitutes a fail. The course is open for re-sit examination early in the following semester. | Date(s) of written examination
