FRA-3013: Linguistic structures Work Load
10 credits (ECTS) | Objectives
Through the course, the students are to become familiar with theory and models for analysis in connection with the structure(s) in focus. Students are to gain a deeper analytic understanding of a limited grammatical field, and also to train their practical skills in French through written and oral presentations of limited topics related to the field. | Contents
Different topics based on French language structures and main grammatical categories connected to e.g. nominal and verbal syntax will be discussed. Which parts of syntax are discussed will vary.
This course requires a Cand.mag.-degree with a mellomfag in French, a bachelor''s degree in French, or equivalent. | Form of teaching
The course has multiple teaching approaches | Assessment
An oral presentation of 15-30 minutes on a topic related to the topic(s) of the teaching.
A 2-week home exam after the completion of the teaching (10-15 pages).
Performance will be assessed with the grades A-F.
