BIO-3554: Fisheries Ecology Vekting

This is an intermediate course in fisheries biology. Present and future issues in population management are introduced in a theme-based manner. | Innhold
A deeper insight into the biological processes and interactions of exploited populations is given. The field of population genetics is introduced prior to discussion of pressing issues in conservation management. Other topics include an analysis of the assessment and management processes from a biological perspective. Attention is given to a wide range of organisms under contrasting exploitation regimes, in temperate and tropical waters. | Obligatorisk forkunnskapskrav
