Optional Master?s course. | Innhold
The course aims to provide the student with a global perspective of arctic archaeology. The course provides in-depth insights into the cultural development of the southern arctic area, including theory, method, and material culture. Particular emphasis will be placed on Tierra del Fuego, southern Patagonia and adjacent areas of Chile. A comparative and comprehensive view of global arctic archaeology and cultural resource management will give the student the insights necessary to study and meet the broader scale challenges of the cultural history of the areas in the future. | Undervisning
