SOS-3011: Topics in Advanced Quantitative Methods I Vekting

These course are short-term intensive seminar, combining lecture, practical exercises, and group discussion. The specific topics vary from year to year, and in some years both may be offered, each dealing with a different specific topic. The course may be taken for credit, and neither course is a pre-requisite for the other. However, students may not receive credit for two courses on the same specialized topic offered in different years. Both courses require prior completion of a course similar to SOS 3002.
Specialized topics offered most often are: 1. specialized problems in regression analysis and logistic regression, 2) an introduction to structural equation models, and 3) an introduction to multi-level models. The examination consists of an analysis exercise and a written research note reporting the results of this analysis. | Undervisning
