The course is an obligatory part of the bachelor''s degree in psychology. It also an elective course for all disciplines.
| Contents
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with central topics and research findings from the field of cognitive psychology. Topics covered may include memory, perception, language, problem-solving, thinking and learning. The course will also provide an introduction to the methods that are used in the research of cognitive psychology.

Essay
| Exam and assessment
One take-home essay (5 pages) and one 4-hour written exam. Deadlines for all assignments and exams will be specified in the course syllabus.
