Exam and assessment
Methods of work and assessment and grading:
The examination consists of the master''s thesis and an oral exam.

The thesis should consist of the equivalent of 80 to 110 written pages. If the student wishes to use sound and pictures or other non-written forms of documentation, the thesis must include a written part of at least 40 pages, and the complete thesis must meet the requirement of being equivalent to 80-110 written pages.

If two or three students submit a thesis as a group, the thesis should be equivalent to 140 - 180 pages for 2 students and 240 - 260 pages for 3 students. In addition, it should be clarified for which part of the thesis each student is responsible . If the group decides to use sound and pictures or other non-written forms of documentation, the thesis must include a written part of at least 60 pages for 2 students and 80 pages for 3 students.

Provided that the thesis is approved, a one-hour open project seminar will be held, consisting of a 30-minute oral exam followed by a discussion. The thesis counts for 75% and the oral for 25% toward the final grade. An external examiner will be used.

Performance in the course is assessed with the grades A-F.
