The course will provide in-depth knowledge of Norwegian/Scandinavian literature and literary history from World War II to today, and also of literary theory and analysis. | Contents
The course covers Norwegian and Scandinavian literature from World War II to today. The study of literary texts will be closely related to the study of secondary literature in literary history and literary theory. The methods component is not only intended as a tool, but will also enable students to see how an individual textual analysis or other research result is directly related to a particular theoretical method and perhaps also to a value judgement.
Required previous qualifications/ courses: General entrance requirement.
Recommended previous qualifications/ courses: NOR-1110, NOR-1111 or equivalent. | Form of teaching

Lectures, exercises, paper writing.

| Exam and assessment
Coursework Requirements:
In order to sit the exam, students must give a prepared 15-minute oral presentation in the course of the semester.
Assessment method:
School exam, 6 hours. Exam language: Norwegian, bokmål.
Grading: Letter grades (A-F)
