SOS-3012: Topics in Advanced Quantitative Methods II Work Load

This course and SOS-3011 are short, intensive courses combining lectures, practical exervcises and group discussions in seminars. The specific topics vary from year to year. Both courses may be offered some years, eache dealing with a different topic. The courses may be taken for credits, and neither is a pre-requisite for the other. However, students may not receive credits for two courses on the same specilised (topic(s) offered in different years. Both courses require prior completion of a course similar to SOS-3002. Specialised topics offered most often are: 1) Special problems in regression analysis and logistic regression, 2) an introduction to structural equation models, and 3) an introduction to mulit-level models. The examination consists of an analysis exercise and a note reporting the results of this analysis. | Form of teaching
