This is a free choice subject within bachelor degree studies in Philosophy and serves as a subsidiary subject in many humanities, science and social science fields. | Contents
The classic texts in the European history of philosophy make up a rich source for discussions concerning gender issues. Through a feminist perspective these texts may surprise us and open the way to new thoughts about where our thinking has been and remains gender-biased today. Both male and female philosophers are included in the curriculum. This course of study challenges the traditional history of philosophy by adopting a critical and questioning relationship to the male-dominated perspective of this academic field.
