| Objectives
The aims of the course is to introduce students to current research and debates about organizational learning and knowledge management and to provide insights into techniques and problems of implementing such ideas in companies and other organizations. | Contents
The course will give an overview of theories and applications of knowledge management in organizations. The following themes are covered: transition from industrial to knowledge economy, the nature of knowledge, knowledge bases and linkages, communication and use of knowledge, creation and exploitation of knowledge-based assets, knowledge management systems, intellectual property rights. The course will draw on a mixture of case studies, readings, and guest speakers. | Form of teaching

Term paper (20 %) and a project report (80 %).
