MED-300: Medicine (part two - year 3) Work Load

Norwegian | Objectives
Basic subjects, clinical subjects and social medicine are taught in an integrated manner; the subject matter is organised as courses related to organs or topics. In the courses related to organs and topics, the main emphasis rests on fundamental aspects of human biology and pathophysiology. Patient demonstrations play an important part in in-depth studies of basic subjects. Interaction seminars are linked with a selection of the courses and with certain topics during the last year. | Contents
The third year of study offers course 7 Topography (2 weeks), course 8 Respiration (4 weeks), course 9 The Cardiovascular System (7 weeks), course 10 The Gastrointestinal Tract (8 weeks), course 11 Haematopoietic and lymphoid system (5 weeks), course 12 Endocrinology (5 weeks) and course 13 The Kidneys and urinary tracts (7 weeks). | Compulsory prerequisites
