| Objectives
The theme will give the students knowledge in medical epidemiology as a research method. The course will qualify the students to formulate a medical research problem, design a study to explore the problem and apply the appropriate method in order to provide valid answers to the problem formulated. | Contents
The course consists of 5 topics:
- Epidemiologic study design
- Clinical epidemiology
- Data handling
- Basic statistics
- PC analysis | Form of teaching
30 hours of seminars and lectures. | Exam and assessment
Hand out 27.11.2006 at 08.00. Hand in 11.12.2006 at 12.00.
2-week take-home examination on a topic chosen by the student. | Contact person/lecturer
