The main features of Old Norse religion are presented with a special focus on ritual, mythology, ethics, and source criticism. Attention will also be brought to eastern Scandinavia during the Viking Age as well as early Germanic traditions. | Form of teaching

One term paper (5 pages/approx. 2000 words) over a given topic, in addition to a 4 hour university-based exam. |
