| Objectives
The main aim is encapsulated in five areas of competence: academic competence, didactic competence, social competence, work ethic competence, and change and development competence. These areas of competence will contribute to the professional orientation of teaching studies and reflect the various work assignments that contribute to practical teacher training. At the same time, this course of study will enable students to set their teacher training and the role of the school in a historical, social and cultural context.
| Contents
Teacher Training studies (PPU) are based on three main themes that together offer a basis of knowledge that is necessary to go into teaching: planning and carrying out teaching and instruction; organizing teaching; knowledge and teaching. This is a two-year course of study during which most students are in positions in schools and training. The instruction in education and academic/work-related didactics is undertaken by means of seminar meetings of varying lengths that are spread out over the entire period of study. In addition to their daily teaching in school, students will also carry out different work topics or projects of a practical and theoretical nature in between the seminar meetings.
