| Objectives
The student receives training in reading Russian texts and expressing him/herself about these in written form. | Contents
This subject consists of practical exercises in reading and writing Russian.
Course type: Limited free-choice subject, i.e. the student must choose two of the 5 study credit subjects: RUS-1310 The St. Petersburg myth in Russian literature; RUS-1311 Practical Russian (in St. Petersburg); and RUS-1312 Textual reading and writing style (in St. Petersburg). | Compulsory prerequisites
RUS-1010 Beginners Course in Written and Oral Russian | Form of teaching
The teaching is offered during the first 8 weeks of the Autumn semester at the Norwegian University Centre in St. Petersburg and consists of practical exercises.
The lectures starts during week 31 2007. | Exam and assessment
Coursework Requirements:The weekly style assignments that are given during the course in St. Petersburg must be completed.
The examination is a 3-hour written invigilated examination after the student''s return from St. Petersburg.
Performance in the course will be assessed with the grades A-F.
