| Objectives
Training for the student in communicating scientific material in the form of a lecture. Another objective is that the student should learn to handle tools to search for publicised literature for the purpose of learning. | Contents
This is a special course for students taking the Master of Science programme in Biology at the Institute of Medical Biology. On the basis of a given topic the student will undertake a literature search to find out what has been written on the matter in international journals. The subject material should then be presented by the student as a seminar with an examiner present. The student will have four weeks at his disposal from the day of reception of the topic till delivery of the seminar. The topic will have a bearing on the contents of his postgraduate thesis. | Form of teaching

Oral presentation before an audience; the seminar will be announced at the faculty a week before it is held.
