Also, the Vatican and its allies with their ultra conservative stands on abortion/birthcontrol in the UN population conferences in the 90ties have had tremendous impact. Frances Olsen is a leading American theorist who attempts to expose the hypocrisy of many anti-abortionists' claimed defense of ''life'' and offers important support for defending and expanding reproductive rights.
