This seminar will discuss my efforts to recover texts and records written by women before the eighteenth century. The vital point of my seminar will be to share with you some of my re-thinking of the cultural history of women in Europe before the eighteenth century. Examples will be provided from women’s writings not only in Britain but also in the Nordic countries.
