Tromsø-undersøkelsene gjennom 30 år

In connection with the 30th anniversary for The Tromsø Study, a three day seminar will be held from October 4th-6th.
The focus of the seminar will be the challenges in longitudinal studies of the epidemiology of chronic diseases, presented by international capacities in the field. As The Tromsø Study and The County Studies with the Age-40 programme started the same year and in part has been a joint project between The University of Tromsø and The National Health Screening Service, the history, design and main findings of both studies will be presented and, where appropriate, be used to exemplify the challenges discussed in the seminar.
