Verden i Troms - Tromsø i verden er en enternasjonal uke for, med og av folk i Tromsø

Hugin's Report

The ravens in the Tromsø University logo are called Hugin and Munin. Hugin is bold and thoughtful. Munin is mindful and desirous. Both seek Knowledge for the God Odin.

Munin is the party animal that the students have all met during the wild parties held at Driv and other places during the debut and orientation week. Munin prefers to be with those who party, drink and get drunk, mad, silly and insane, then relate stories about days gone by, nostalgia. Munin reported!

Hugin, however, has not reported yet. S/he's been in the library and the halls of the academia, quiet places in nature like the mountain and forests. S/he brings academic knowledge, philosophy and wisdom in the form of poetry and stories. This is Hugin's time to report.

Individuals are invited to present poems of their own or others as well as stories from their home region or just come and listen and enjoy. (Munin will also be there because s/he can't resist being in places where people meet for enjoyment!)

Closing date for submissions is midnight on Thursday 21 October 2004.

List whether it's a story or a poem. Each item has time of maximum 15minutes. Hugin will collect the submissions, produce the evening's program and email it to the participants asap. Please submit early as only a limited number will perform.

Send email submissions to pdw022@student.uit.no
