Thanksgiving Fe(a)st

To all Americans, Canadians and others interested in celebrating Thanksgiving Day.

AMERICANS IN TROMSØ cordially invite you and your family to attend the 10th Annual Thanksgiving Day Celebration in Tromsø on Saturday, November 22 at 5:30 PM. This years fe(a)st will be held at the cafe/kantina of the Polar Environmental Centre (Polarmiljøsenteret) located next to Polaria.

The cost will be 150 kr for adults and 25 kr for kids 12 and under. This covers the cost of turkey, non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, soda, etc.), munchies and condiments. Alcohol is permitted and is BYOB (bring your own). Payment can be sent to: Americans in Tromsø, bank account 6420.05.30789 and is also accepted at the door. Each family is asked to bring a food dish sufficient for at least 12 persons (single individuals can bring less of course). Please select among the following: hot dish/casserole, salad, or dessert – and contact Celeste Schive (tel. 77 69 99 93 / E-mail: baard-sc@frisurf.no) about the type of dishes needed.
