Technical Department

The Technical Department has the overall responsibility to manage, operate and maintain all of the university’s buildings and constructions. The department shall, in addition to providing users with expert advice, take the initiative with maintenance and improvements with the aim of meeting user requirements, ensuring the buildings and installations are maintained to an acceptable quality level to perform the function they were designed and built for, as well as contributing to the best possible cost effectiveness. The department comprises a projects section, planning group, operational section, cleaning section and other staff, with a total staff of around 115.
