Work Born in Rome in 1965.Graduated at «Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia», Rome (The National Italian Film Academy) and post-grade scholarship for experimental research within Documentary and Ethnographic Filmmaking. Holds additional studies in Cultural Anthropology and Philosophy at Rome University and in Aesthetic and Film Form at Sorbonne University of Paris (Maîtrise en Sciences de l'Art). Rossella is currently a Doctoral Fellow of Irish Research Government of Ireland for a PhD in Visual Anthropology. Her themes of investigation are: migration, memory, communication, childhood and body language. She has directed nine documentaries and collaborated in more than twenty films with other authors. She has collaborated with L. Holtedahl in her latest films. She is actually working at VCS since 96, as supervisor for the student exam's films, lecturing in ethnographic filmmaking, as well as working on her own films projects: «The Enigma of Health: H.G. Gadamer», "Else hjemme i verden" (together with E. Merok at ISM) and "La Mémoire Dure" . These three films have been invited to participate on numerous national and international seminars and festivals.
