The film is about Mohammed Miri, an Iranian who immigrates to Norway to improve his life.He has got married to a Norwegian.

The dialogue between Mohammed and his wife Maibritt reveals the differences that exist in cross-cultural marriage among couple.

The film also addresses issues of being a foreigner in Norway, the obsession of keeping one busy, the different ways of socialising a child and the longing for home land.
