Mona is one of the few female moose-hunters in Northern Norway. The film explores some of the reasons which made her choose being one. Hunting is usually a very male-dominated activity. We follow Mona and the hunting party during a hunting trip, in which she will be the leader for the first time. It is an exciting task for her; will her male collegues follow her orders since she is a novice and a woman?
