ANTHROPOS FREDSKORPS’ PROJECT
Is a partnership arrangement between the University of Tromsø, the University of Ngaoundéré and the University of Bamako, Mali.
The arrangement is financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affaires, the Volounteer Service, the new Fredskorps.
The overall objectives correspond to the Anthropos activities,
- to enhance the specificities of mutual research and teaching competence between the universities
to develop means and arenas for dialogue, communication and practical exchange of experiences between the academia and civil society
The partnership arrangement concern exchange of personnel within two fields of activities
the development of Audio Visual Centres
the development of Centres of Resources and Documentation, CRED
9 participants have been posted in the triangular exchange since March 2002, 4 of them have been related to the development of Audio Visual Centres. The workshop in anthropological filmmaking was one big step on creating a programme for audiovisual training at UoNg, based on practical collaboration and adjustments to local means and possibilities
