I'm a radiation physicist who obtained my degrees in instrumentation within space physics research. I joined the Industrial instrumentation research group in 1992 and has since then become increasingly involved in industrial measurement systems utilizing nuclear radiation. The majority of my student supervision and research is devoted to this subject which I also teach in one of our specialist courses. The group's principal applications of nuclear radiation have been industrial tomography and multiphase process measurements.

These are my main fields of interest:

  • Nucleonic instrumentation and engineering
  • Multiphase process measurements
  • Industrial tomography
  • Computerized instrumentation and control
