I am nerdier than 98% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

I am a physicist, working in experimental particle physics, lecturing at the University of Bergen, Department of Physics and Technology , and doing research at CERN. The particle physics group in Bergen has its own website here .

For few years before September 2003 I was teaching at the Physics Department University of Stockholm, Sweden. Here are some pictures from my sentimental good-bye Stockholm tour and some views from Alps and life in Geneva here . More travels and views on my personal page.

Particle physics is a lifestyle as well as a job- it took me other places as well, mainly various universities allover the world: University of Padua, Italy. Laboratory of Linear Accelerator, Paris, France, University of California, Irvine, US, University of Heidelberg, Germany, University of Warsaw, Poland; and scientific labs, CERN, DESY, and FERMILAB.

My major interest right now is the Atlas experiment and, in particular, preparations for staring all that up, and making our first discoveries soon after! Before, I have spent several years trying to find supersymmetry (primarily neutralinos) at LEP, and I did not found any, so I took some time setting limits on the mass of the Lightest Supersymmetric Particle, and other particles. I tried to measure as well some cross-sections for the production of the four-fermion final states. My other job was to be MAD , look there yourself to see what it meant.

Before ATLAS, DELPHI and D0 I was working on other experiments: CDHSW neutrino experiment, Soledoidal Detector Collaboration at the Superconducting Supercollider (alas it did not live long enough to keep me in US) and, for short while on ZEUS detector, at HERA, DESY.
