Goal
Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics shall contribute to a safe and good work environment for all employees and students.
Local Work Environment Committee (LWEC)
The LWEC work towards establishing a satisfactory work environment. The committee participates in the planning of safety and environmental work, according to Working environment act (§7-2).
Local Safety Officer
Local safety officer (from january 2007 til january 2009) is Lill Kristin Theodorsen.
Local safety officer shall see to it that the employees are represented and cooperate in HMS-work, and provide the management with support in its efforts to fulfill safety requirements. Local safety officer is also present in the LWEC.
The faculty of mathematics and natural sciences' HMS handbook and self declaration form
Employees are required to be familiar with and act in accordance with existing HMS instructions. All employees must read the HMS handbook and sign a self declaration form. Paper versions of the HMS handbook and the self declaration form is available at the Institute expedition office on 2nd floor. The handbook and the form are also available for download here.
