Molecular Ecology and Evolution

Organisms flourish in their natural habitats despite the challenges from biotic and abiotic environment. A major goal in ecology and evolutionary biology is to reveal the molecular basis of how organisms adapt to their environments.

The Molecular Ecology and Evolution group at NTNU aim at understanding how evolutionary processes act on genomes, and how this influence the ecological success of plants and animals.
