Research Interests:
For my PhD, which I completed in 2002, I studied the spatial ecology of roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) in Italy (Siena, Tuscany).
My interests include how climate and productivity affect population ecology of ungulates and carnivores and the indirect effects of ungulates on diversity of ecosystems.
Currently I am participating in a project on raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides), to study how climate and productivity modify the parameters of the curve of fat accumulation and to produce scenarios for its future distribution in Scandinavia.
