I got my doctoral degree (PhD) in control engineering from the Université de Savoie (France) in October 2002. In 2002-2003 I was a research engineer at the french ocean research institute IFREMER in Toulon. For the time being I am working at the Centre of Excellence for Ships and Ocean Structures (CESOS) and at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics (ITK) of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
