About me
I obtained Bachelor degree (Hons)
in Civil Engineering in 2001 at Hochiminh
University of Technology (HCMUT). After graduation,
I was employed at HCMUT as an assistant lecturer
for six months. From 2003 to 2006, I completed the PhD degree in Marine
Control Systems at the Department of Civil Engineering, NUS
in cooperation with the Department of Marine Technology, NTNU. My supervisors
were Professor Quek Ser Tong and Professor Asgeir
J. Sørensen. Currently, I am a Post Doctorial Fellow at Center of
Excellent for Ships and Ocean Structures (CESOS).
My advisor is Professor Asgeir J. Sørensen. My research interests are supervisory
control and nonlinear control with applications to marine control systems. I
am currently working on the hybrid control system for positioning moored
vessel. The project is funded by the Computational Methods in Nonlinear
Motion Control (CMinMC) Group, Department of
Engineering Cybernetics. |
