Third meeting of the Indian-Norwegian Working Group on Hydrocarbons

The Norwegian government and Statoil have undertaken an agreement to establish the world's largest full-scale CO2 capture and storage (CCS) project in conjunction with the projected combined heat and power plant at Mongstad. (12.10.06)

Norwegian government with big effort for renewable energy

Odd Roger EnoksenMr. Odd Roger Enoksen, Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, has announced that the Norwegian Government will allocate NOK 20 billion (approx. 2.5 billion Euros) in a fund to strengthen the efforts in increasing production and use of renewable energy and increased energy efficiency (14.06.06)
