Description of this course:
Course objective: The intention of the course is to give basic knowledge and methods for planning, analysis, design and implementing of energy efficient solutions in both new and existing buildings.
Level: Graduate course
Weighting: 7.5 study points (1 semester equals 30 study points)
System of marking: The NTNU scale A-F.
Pedagogic method: Lectures, field studies and work in groups.
Examination A brief 2-hours examination will be arranged the last day of the course. The evaluation will be based on this exam, the coursework and the case study report.

Course fee: For Norwegian participants: NOK 5000 (including local transport, the opening and closing banquets).
Accommodation: Ye Yuan Hotel - the guest house of XUAT. Address: No 13 Yanta Road, Xi´an 71 00 55, Shaanxi Province, P.R. China. Price Yuan 170 per night. (Not included in the course fee).
Transportation: Has to be arranged (in due time!) by the student him/herself. Local transport in Xi´an is included in the course fee.
