On the use of Tersoff potentials

The carbon atoms are known to have very complex properties which are simply impossible to simulate by
two-body potentials in the framework of molecular dynamics.

Therefore one needs more complex many-body potentials, which are related to the original potential proposed by
Tersoff.

The aim of this subproject is to collect as much as possible of the available experience with such potentials, in
particular with relations to studies of fulleren-like structures and carbon nanotubes, and set them into a framework
related to Protomol.
