The Norwegian College of Dance is emphasising the role of dance in contemporary culture. They want to strengthen their international links, and develop african dance traditions in their own institution. ECCO Gambia is an NGO, but wants to develop to an academy of West African culture to sustain the living traditions in the region, strengthen the competence of local resource personnel and to improve local organizational structures through exchange.
