ANPPCAN is a pan-African child rights organization whose aim is to enhance, in partnership with others, the prevention and protection of children from all forms of maltreatment, thus ensuring that the rights of children realized. It was established during the first African conference on Child Abuse and Neglect held in Enugu, Nigeria in 1986. It has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, where it is registered as an International NGO.
