FUNMAT seminar march 30th 2006
FUNMAT@UiO organised a one-day seminar, the purpose of which was to review
the research activity both within FUNMAT@UiO and within the
nationally coordinated FUNMAT-projects carried out at the
University of Oslo. PhD students and post-docs associated
with FUNMAT sponsored projects presented their work in short 15 mins
talks.
Some speakers also provided a general overview of the FUNMAT activities,
its history from conception in the late nineties, and its position regarding
Norwegian research in materials science.
One invited speaker also offered a presentation:
Professor dr. Bert Weckhuysen from Utrecht University,
Faculty of Chemistry gave a talk entitled Catalysis Live and Up Close:
Snapping Catalysts at Work.
The program is available as pdf.
