Subject: SPH 1200 Nursing and Natural Science 1 (20 sp)
Subject: SPH 1200 102 Calculations and Measurements of Medicines

A – Nursing Theory:

Nursing practice
Basic needs of mankind
Practical nursing skills

E – Natural Science:

Anatomy and physiology
Microbiology
Hygiene
Calculations and measurements of medicines

Level: elementary

SPH 1010 Credits: 10 Function and area in public healthcare: 4 credits
Function and area in special healthcare: 4 credits
Hygiene: 2 credits

SPH 1200 Credits: 20 Anatomy, physiology and biochemistry: 12 credits Microbiology and hygiene: 2 credits Nursing and profession 6 credits including:
- function and area in public health. 3 credits
- function and area in special healthcare.: 3 credits

Obligattory:
SPH 1010: None
SPH 1200: One written paper or one paper on ClassFronter is mandatory before the student can take the exam.

SPH 1200 102: One individual written paper, as part of the course must be passed before the student can take the test.

 

Clinical training SPH PRA 103
Lab, 4-6 days

Training in basic nursing, 4 weeks

Lab exam in basic nursing skills must be passed before the student can start clinical training.

Participation (seminars) : 80%

 

Exam:
SPH 1010 Clinical exam in Basic Nursing 2
SPH 1200 Individual 6 hour written exam in Nursing and natural sciences 1
SPH 1200 102 Test in calculations and measuring of medicine

Grade SPH 1010:
Pass/fail
Grade SPH 1200:
Passing from A to E, F for failure.
Grade SPH 1200 102:
Pass/fail
