Children at lectures
Children at lectures can often disturb fellow students and lecturers, especially since the lecture rooms are not suitable for looking after children. Children can only therefore in special cases be allowed to attend lectures and other forms of teaching.

Purchase of curriculum litterature
Although curriculum litterature is listed in the study course plans, we recommend students not to buy the books until the staff member responsible for the course has commented on the curriculum at the start of the study programme,course of study. The University College's own bookshop is called Pensum book shop and is situated in the main building on campus.

Personal messages to students
Personal messages to students from next-of-kin or others can be given to the student office or hung up on the notice board at the canteen entrance or by putting the message into the student post boxes (in the hall in the B-wing).

Photocopying
Students have good access to photocopy machines. Photocopy cards can be bought at the Pensum bookshop.

Post
Students may not use the university college's address as their private address, but must get their correct address in Bodø. Give notice to your friends and relatives of your address as soon as possible. The post boxes at the university college are only to be used for internal post. Post addressed to students will be returned to sender. The post office is situated in the shopping complex near the university college (beside the REMA shop).

Telephone
Telephone kiosks with coin and card access are situated in many places on campus. Telecards can be bought at the university college.  Messages to students are only to be given through the student office.

Cupboards
Students can have their own cupboards to store books etc. You pay a small deposit to the caretaker who is responsible for this.

Bank
There are two banks with branches situated about 100 metres from the university college at Mørkved: Sparebank 1 Nord-Norge and Nordlandsbanken.

The bookshop
The nearest bookshop is Pensum bookshop which is situated beside the Alexandria Cafe. In addition, there are bookshops in the city centre.

Bus routes
There are good bus routes between the university college and the city. From Mørkved the 12, 13, 22 and 24 bus services leave every 15-20 minutes in the rush hour, and somewhat more infrequently out of rush hours. The 24 bus route goes from Mørkved to Rønvik. The bus timetable can be obtained at the information desk.

Parking
There are parking lots near the main entrance, at entrance A , entrance C and at the main parking lot below the university college. Everybody should make an effort to use public transport as much as possible.
