Advanced Course in Practical Economics and Management Narvik University College is the only College in Norway which offers an advanced course in Practical Economics and Management over one year (60 ECTS credits). This is a practical course which will therefore consist of a small number of topics with strong specialization and great emphasis on independent study, group work, and presentation and defence of group work results in front of the other groups. The work is always based on examples and assignments from small and medium-sized enterprises in the region to liven up the subject or make it readily applicable. In addition, the students acquire a toolbox of methods, skills and management tools which are first learned "by hand" and later adapted to computer use. According to employers, this is what makes them operative from day one.
