Application and admission
Deadline for application for study year 2008/2009:
The application with all enclosures must reach us by
- 15 February 2008 - for applicants with a bachelor degree from non Nordic countries
- 15 April 2008 - for applicants with a bachelor degree from the Nordic Countries.
How to apply
1. Applicants with a non Nordic bachelor or Applicants with a Nordic bachelor, but without a Norwegian ID number, please use this
application pdf.
2. Applicants with a Norwegian ID number and a Nordic bachelor should use our electronic application with enclosures which will be ready around February 2008
Transcripts
We strongly advise applicants to order their academic records to be send directly from their home university to Oslo University College. Applicants from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Sudan must have their academic records sent directly to the Oslo University College from their home institution.
English Profiency Requirements
International students who are not native speakers of English must document their proficiency in English by taking one of the following internationally recognised tests:
- TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
- IELTS - International English Language Testing Service

No fees, but
the student must provide his/her own financial means for accommodation and living costs. As a general rule, students from outside the EU (European Union) and EEA (European Economic Area) need to document a certain amount in a Norwegian bank account in order to be granted a residence permit/visa to Norway (presently NOK 96 000 for three semesters). Scholarships/grants/Quota Scheme
Apart from the Quota Scheme there are no grants or scholarships available for the masterprogramme. For the time being there are just five quota schemes available. Only applicants from Nicaraqua, Dominican Republik, Sudan,Tanzania and South Africa are at present eligible to apply, see more about the Quota Scheme here
