What is the Student Parliament – and what do we do?
The Student Parliament is the upper student body at OUC, and consists of a congregation and board, in addition to a President and Vice-President.
The President and the Vice-President and an organisation officer work every day at the office in Pilestredet 46. We work closely with students and the elected representatives. All our representatives are OUC-students that are elected to represent you, your opinions and needs – and to make sure that your voice is heard.
The Student Parliament has funds to its disposal for student initiated activities, as i.e. the student newspaper OsloStudenten, concerts and other social activities. The congregation (Forsamlingen) is the highest body in the Student Parliament, and they make the final decisions.
The congregation (Forsamlingen) has meetings 3-4 times a semester. At the first meeting they constitute a board with seven members, one from each Faculty. The board representatives meet every week.
