Using your student card to pay for photocopying

After having charged the money chip of your student card you can use the card to pay for photocopying.

The photocopiers available for students are placed at the following locations:

Fredrikstad: H4 and N3 
Sarpsborg: staircase, 1^st floor

Halden: BU2-012 (library) and to the left of Aud. Max (behind A1-045 next to the Coca Cola-machine)

Instructions for use of the photocopier

1. Turn on the photocopier if it is not already on (On/Off switch).
2. Insert your student card in the card reader with the picture/chip upwards. The card reader shows the balance left in the card.
3. Place the original in the paper feeder of the copier.

§         With more than one original take care to remove paper clips or staples.

§         If the original is one-sided place the writing upwards.

§         If the original is two-sided adjust for two-sided copying on the touch screen.

§         If you want more than one copy, key in the preferred number.

4. Press START to start copying.
5. When the copying is finished press AVSLUTT on the card reader.
6. Wait until the card reader indicates that you can remove the card.
7. Remove the card.

Note

If you remove the card too early it will not function and must be reinserted in the cashpoint machine for automatic updating with new balance.
