Ph.D programmes

At the moment Telemark University College has one approved Ph.D programme.

It is a ph.D programme in 'Process, Energy and Automation Engineering.'

The programme is not open to general admission. The Ph.D positions are research positions that must be applied for. Vacant positions will be advertised in the local, regional and sometimes national press, as well as on www.hit.no

Telemark University College is in a process of applying for three more Ph.D programmes from the national agency NOKUT.

The first two applications have been launced within the fields of:

• - Cultural Studies
• - Ecology

They are currently being considered for accreditation.

The third new Ph-D programme planned is a programme in Preventive Health Care.
