| I have been working at the department
since August 1987, teaching mainly courses in translation and practical
grammar at Engelsk grunnfag.
I have previous work experience from the secondary
school system (from 1980). I completed my Hovedfag thesis on the
pragmatics of inversion in May 1983.
In periods until 1995 I taught English methodology
and didactics at the teacher-training department (Appu/Unikom, now called
PLP).
My fields of interest are foreign language teaching
and learning, learning theories and English for Specific Purposes.
From 1996 and onwards I have been developing courses
in English for specific purposes. The one currently being offered is English
for Business and Administration. In connection with this course there
is a one-week study
trip.
