Main Fields: Evolvable hardware, and parallel computer architectures.

Evolvable hardware and associated areas is unified by a general interest in the use of bottom-up, individual-based and evolutionary techniques in both the design of efficient systems and tools and in the investigation of biological phenomena.

Parallel computer architectures' goal is improved understanding of the interplay between application, algorithm and architecture in parallel computers. The methods used are simulation and analysis, performance evaluation of parametrised applications and benchmarks.
