A central theme for our section, both in teaching and research, is efficient and scalable computation, with a focus on hardware and programming.
We offer courses in classical, basic computer science topics such as hardware architecture and construction, compiler technology, high performance computing and parallel programming, algorithms and information retrieval, visualization, and 3D graphics. Several of our courses have ties with bioinformatics.
